You won't believe what I discovered this evening. I am wearing dirty clothes! And I have been for some time now. :) Let me explain.
I am currently using ALL he w/ fragrance laundry soap. We have recently, ok not recently, switch soaps when we installed the he front loader. I had to buy new soap and it was a good deal. Normally I would get regular ALL fragrance free 3X concentrate soap. You would use a little, about a 1/4 cup, because it was so concentrated. So when everyone told me I had to use way less soap in an he front loader I cut in half. Then it says it concentrated so I cut in half again. Yikes! I have been thinking my clothes just don't smell as fresh as they use to. So I've cleaned the washer, the house, and even Oliver. Top to bottom everything has been cleaned because the clothes must be absorbing the smell from the environment.
Just now I put in a load a towels to soak and wash. It occurred to me I should check the back of the soap to see just how much should you be putting in. I did and I laughed so hard that I scared Oliver. I can't believe I could be so silly. It's definitely an Amelia Bedelia Moment!
New & Improved but not idiot proof. And I pretty I have gotten WAY more loads than 32 out of this baby. In fact I was secretly congratulating myself on how long it's lasted and the coupon saving I made. :)
Special Note: I just want to thank family, friends, & co-workers for enduring our slightly unrefreshed clothing these past few months. :)

Dinner and the Theatre
Recently we had a lovely night out with Reid's Grandparents. We went to dinner at this cute place called Skylark's Hidden Cafe in Fairhaven. I had the Clam Chowder. It was delicious! Creamy but not too thick. They used red potatoes which totally made the chowder. So good! Excellent spices! Reid had a Thermadore dish with scallions & shrimp over a bed of pasta noodles and an Alfredo sauce. Equally delicious. Sadly I do not have a picture of the food. I will remember for the future to take one so we can all feast our eyes upon it.
After dinner we went to see Pirates of at WWU. It was an excellent theatrical experience. The pirates were histerical and the father was fabulous, he was my favorite. Like most of you already know this show was written and has always been a musical. I did not know this. So a little ways into the play it dawned on me that this was an opera and everything was to be sung. I suppose at first I just thought it was an extended long opening song. I chuckled softly to myself and enjoyed the rest of the show. You do have to be a good listener, which I am not. A few times during the play the women singing were out of my range, or something, and I could not understand what they were saying. At that point I was going by bodylanguage, gestures, any type of movement to understand what was going on. I even found myself staring so hard to take it all in that my eyes were hurting. BLINK! Seriously though super good. An amazing performance. It's hard believe we only paid $12. We will be going back. :)

The Importance of Hosiery
Hosiery plays an important part in the life of a girl. A support like no other.
This weekend I went out to dinner and theater. It was a little chilly but I wanted to wear a dress. I was debating on hose or no hose? It is March. A quick look at my legs and a brief step outdoors told me I should go with the hose. After all I didn't have the 1/2hr. it would take to lather my legs in lotion and hope the skin soaks it all in for a silky smooth look before I leave for my date.
Top reasons to wear hose:
1. Sleek & Smooth Legs: Even a pair of dry legs can look elegant in a pair of hose. It's a perfect cover up for a five o'clock leg shadow, extreme dry skin, or areas I cut myself shaving. I'm a bleeder!
2. A Light Glow: No more pasty legs! It's not a tan, or maybe it is :), but in my case it's at least beige.
3. Controlled Top: A smooth line everytime! Perfect for smoothing out any unwanted wrinkles. I like when my dress can flow. If you buy the hose without the control top option chances are you don't need hose.
4. Leg Warmers: Hose keeps you at least 10 degrees warmer. Perfect for the winter. It's like a cheap long underwear. :) It's even good under jeans.
If you choose not to wear hose chances are:
* you are of the age of 10-23
* you are an athlete & well hydrated
* your of a gifted part of the human race with tiny silky smooth legs - rock on!
* it's summer - no one wears hos, too hot!
* don't care - Some people have nerves of steel. They bear those beautiful legs with goosebumps, shaving scars, patches of hair missed around the knee, and dry flaky skin.
My favorite type of hose are from MACYS by Calvin Klein - infinite sheer-control top. They look like bare legs. Hope your hose finds your legs magic in motion. :)

Times with Grandma & Gramma
The Fair
THE LYNDEN FAIR
What great entertainment! A king corn dog, some Edaleen Dairy ice cream, shake or Moowiches. Yum! We even caught the little pony chariot races. We ventured through all the barns looking at the animals and prized quilts, displays, jams, ect. The lace making was amazing. Maybe next year Lili will enter in some baking. I think Becky should too.
